Frequently Asked Questions - FAQs
Who do you typically work with? I work with high-level business leaders, entrepreneurs, board members and high-net-worth individuals who carry responsibility and operate in complex environments. My clients are people who function well—often exceptionally well—but who value having a confidential sparring partner at their own level. “At any given time, I work with just three clients—by design.” What kind of situations do clients bring to you? Clients usually come to me when decisions carry weight and consequences. Typical situations include strategic crossroads, leadership pressure, succession questions, personal–professional balance, or moments where clarity is needed before acting. This work is not about fixing problems, but about sharpening judgment. Is this coaching or therapy? No. I do not offer coaching and I do not provide therapy. My work is confidential, high-level sparring and reflection for leaders who already function at a high level. There is no methodology to follow, no exercises to perform, and no predefined outcome. What is the difference between your work and executive coaching? Executive coaching typically follows a structured method, predefined goals and performance metrics. My work is different. It is unfiltered reflection, mental clarity and strategic presence—without agenda, without pressure, and without frameworks. Clients use this space to think freely and decide clearly. Why would successful people need this? Because success increases complexity. The higher the level of responsibility, the fewer places exist where one can speak openly without being judged, managed, advised or steered. This work exists precisely because successful people are often alone in their thinking. How are sessions structured? There is no fixed structure. Each session follows what is present at that moment—strategic, personal or leadership-related. Conversations are direct, focused and respectful of the client’s intelligence and experience. Some clients meet weekly, others monthly or on an ad hoc basis. Is everything confidential? Yes. Absolutely. Confidentiality is fundamental and non-negotiable. Nothing is shared, recorded or discussed outside the conversation. Discretion is one of the main reasons clients choose to work with me. Do you give advice or tell clients what to do? No. My role is to create clarity, perspective and calm so clients can make their own decisions—faster, sharper and with greater confidence. Do you work internationally? Yes. I work with clients across Europe and internationally, both online and in person. In which languages do you work? I work in English, Dutch (native), French, German and Spanish. How do clients usually engage with you? Engagements are flexible and adapted to the client’s rhythm and needs. Some clients work with me on an ongoing basis, others during specific periods or transitions. This is discussed privately and individually. Is this suitable for everyone? No—and that is intentional. This work is suited for people who value depth over technique, think independently, carry responsibility, and seek clarity rather than motivation. If someone is looking for coaching, therapy or step-by-step guidance, this is not the right fit. How do I know if this is right for me? If you recognize yourself in the descriptions above, it usually is. The best way to know is through an initial, discreet conversation. There is no pressure, no obligation, and no predefined path.
