We like to simplify our contract rules and let normal general understanding take the lead. Of course this is not always possible and for some cases we need to clarify what we mean. The contents of this document can change at any moment in time. We believe that for any problem there is a solution, as long as we want to see it.
Regarding consulting fees. Fees are always paid upfront. When a client needs more than one consultation and he decides to take a package of five or ten or more consultations, this results for him in getting a discount on the total package when paying upfront. The normal time to use a consulting package of five or ten consulting talks is maximum one year. This is a very long period to take the sessions in time. When the client decides to stop the sessions at any given time during the one year time frame we can together agree about a new timing. If the client for any reason does not continue the consultations and breaks the contact with us (Joris Plu Consulting) for instance when not reacting anymore to emails or other forms of communication, we, Joris Plu Consulting, make note of this and understand that this acts as the end of the collaboration. We do not have to inform the client about this at any time, since he knows this. There will never be a refund given or in this case when the client decides to stop the consulting when using any package that was prepaid. We always agree with the client when we start a consulting package that this package needs to be done within one year and there will never be a refund. We agree that the client commits to this consulting. One of the mean reasons taking a package by a client is the commitment having all the consults since the client acknowledge at the time of taking the package that he needs it. If not he would just pay per consult.
